Daniel Patterson
President
Daniel Patterson is a junior at Research Triangle High School and serves as the president of the North Carolina Association of Teen Democrats (NCATD). Over the last year, he has worked to raise money and make sure that NCATD has a presence in the state party and across the state that the organization hasn’t had before.
Fatima Nadeem
Executive Vice President
Fatima Nadeem is a junior at Davidson Early College High School with a deep passion for serving her community. As a Pakistani-American Muslim woman, she heavily enjoys advocating for and serving immigrant and refugee communities. She aims to provide youth like her with opportunities to succeed within North Carolina. Fatima enjoys reading, binge watching shows, and cross-stitching!
Zahara Mushinge
Vice President of Membership
Zahara Mushinge is a Junior at Ardrey Kell High School and is so excited to be your VP of membership! She is currently the President of the Mecklenburg County Teen Democrats an officer at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Youth Council, SAVE Promise Club volunteer coordinator, and Student Advisor to the CMS board of athletics. As she is passionate about advocacy she aims to foster community and open dialogue within our organizations, ensuring our voices are heard and valued!
Andrew Aslakson
Vice President of Communication
Andrew Aslakson is a student at Marvin Ridge High School in Waxhaw, NC. He currently serves as Vice President of Outreach and Treasurer of the Mecklenburg County Teen Democrats and the President of the MRHS Young Democrats. He has received several awards in the field of political science including first in North Carolina and top 5 in the nation from the Future Business Leaders of America in 2023. Andrew aims to use his voice in the NCATD to help defend democracy and the sanctity of our institutions against partisan attacks
Jenna Kubiak
Advisor
Jenna Kubiak is a graduate student at UNC Chapel Hill and former President of the College Democrats of North Carolina, and has taken on the role of advisor for the North Carolina Association of Teen Democrats. Her passion for youth empowerment, combined with her strong affiliation with the Young Democrats, has motivated her to contribute to the growth and development of youth auxiliaries.
